You know I'm not a political person, but I stumbled across a year-old article in The Guardian today which piqued my interest. Supposedly the US and UK signed a new extradition treaty in 2003 which allows the US to demand any British citizen be extradited to America and face trial there, with no reason needed to be given to the UK authorities. Creepy.
