I'm 2,500 times more efficient

Just found out that FeedBurner has a $7m investment. It doesn't do the same as RSS Digest, as such, but they're in the same market. They say they handle 40,000 feeds. RSS Digest only handles several thousand. They probably handle an absolute stack more requests a day than RSS Digest's 350,000.. but still.. $7 million compared to perhaps $500 I've received so far, probably makes me about 2,500 times more efficient dollar for dollar ;-)

I'm doing a pretty good job so far, and RSS Digest 3 is going to kick all ass. I just wish it could be faster. I have all my usual work to hold down too, so RSS Digest 3 progress is sloooooow (still hoping to launch next month though!). Not interested in millions, but I'd say that $10K or so would kick things up a significant number of notches (primarily because I'd be able to hire a Rails developer and a look-and-feel guru like Jon Hicks to work on it totally hardcore).. I prefer doing the technical and promotion ends of stuff, but oh well. I already know it's going to make good money when it finally does get out there. I've been getting a lot of support. It's just a case of getting the hours..
