I'm not buying it, but I got this e-mail yesterday.

Hi everyone,

Barry Scott here from the Cillit Bang adverts. And no, not an imposter pretending to be Barry Scott. Jeez, I've seen so many people online pretending to be me and I just don't get it. So here I am to put things right.

I saw that you were all discussing whether Cillit Bang or me existed at http://www.petercooper.co.uk/archives/000416.html and I thought I'd drop you all a line to say that both me and the Bang are actually real.

For anyone interested, I've recently set up my own blog. I'm hoping to host the new ad on there soon as we've actually just finished filming it in the last couple of weeks. Hopefully it should be up there very soon. I'd also love to hear from any of you by email at thebarryscott [AT] yahoo.co.uk.

His blog is a bit too hammed up to feel real. It feels too well done to be legit, but we'll see.. To be honest, this is the sort of stunt I would have pulled off if I had the time :)
