Broadband has arrived!

The house is complete! We have gas, we have electricity, we have water, furniture.. and now, we have broadband.

I'm really impressed with the Linksys router I bought. Previously I've only used no-name wireless routers with poor range. The Linksys has a great administration interface, great range, and lots of cool features. So if you're looking for a wireless router, don't scrimp.. there's a reason why you pick up tons of Netgear and Linksys routers while wardriving ;-)

Broadband may actually have been activated before today, but tonight I realized that checking the router and seeing the constant lack of DSL was for a reason.. I hadn't plugged it into the line! On plugging it into the line just now, it all sprang into life. I highly doubt it was active before today, but we're rolling now ;-) So, finally I can get back to work!
