Online quiz shows from the late '90s

Does anyone else remember a bunch of online quiz games which came out during the dot com boom (say, 1998ish)?

I can't remember much about them, but one of them was based on Acrophobia. Basically, you ran up the game and it went full-screen. You were then "in" the game, which was presented really well. The game was free, but after each round you'd have to watch 30 seconds of commercials before the next round began. Each game had rooms and a chatroom so you could talk with other players, etc.

It was really engrossing. I'd love to see if it's still running, but I'd assume it's probably not..

(Update: That didn't take long. I've found a Wired article about it all from the above Wikipedia page ;-) It turns out the company was bought out by Sierra, but that it's "You Don't Know Jack" games live on.)

(Yet Another Update: Found a good online approximation of Acrophobia which even looks similar to the old fat-client version!)
