Apple's hard drives, up to 1.5 gigabyte per second

All Mac mini models include standard Serial ATA hard drives with data transfers up to 1.5 gigabytes per second.

Found the above at the online Apple Store. Their hard drives have data transfers up to 1.5 gigabytes per second? I'm intrigued as to which activity actually attains that sort of bandwidth. Of course, considering the main SATA spec (let alone the drives) can only attain 1.5-3 gigabits of bandwidth per second, I'm thinking Apple have a massive double-typo on their hands.
