A few days ago I posted an entry called "$50 prize for a link?". To recap:

Matt at CyberWire is offering a $50 prize to a random person who links to his Text Link Ads review (and it's actually a pretty good review). I wasn't going to enter but I saw only one person bothered so far, and the deadline is.. today. So, why not? That's a 50% chance of winning.

Shortly after I posted, a whole bunch of other people got in on the action, and my chances dropped considerably. Turns out I needn't have worried, however, as I just won! I almost didn't enter as I didn't really want to take $50 out of someone's hands who might have really needed it, but it seemed like it wouldn't hurt. In the spirit of things, however, I'm offering up the $50 as a prize for a draw / contest of my own! Keep your eyes on the blog here for information on that..

Lastly, check out Matt's Cyberwire blog. There are no other $50 give-aways yet, but he blogs about blogging for money, business, and making money online. His motive is that he's going back to school (and giving up his job) so he wants a steady income stream to see him through. A pretty interesting quest, so check it out, as he gives some good case studies and tips along the way.

Anyway, thanks Matt, and keep an eye out here for what I'm going to do with that $50..
