TechCrunch UK: Not enough Web 2.0?

It was with much interest that I saw TechCrunch UK launch a week ago. The UK has lacked a solid UK Web 2.0 blog and while I know there are people trying to put such projects together, it was natural for TechCrunch to get involved, so I subscribed immediately.

And.. it's not been bad.. but rather troubling is that the last two posts are nothing to do with UK startups of Web 2.0 at all, and that's what the About page claims it's all about. You can start throwing in irrelevant posts into a blog after a while, but while you're trying to build a reputation, wildly straying off your niche can be damaging. I'd rather see less posts that are on-topic than have to skip filler posts that are nothing to do with the blog's topic.
