No such thing as a doowickey

Another one of my personal myths has just been broken. I always thought the word was "doowickey", but it's not.. it's "doohickey". I nearly wet myself when I saw doowickey.com was available, but knowing human nature I had to check out why. Yeah, it's not actually a word, and it's so little used it only brings up one result on Google (soon to be two). Oh well.

This joins a list of other myths that have continued to be broken over the last ten years such as my prior beliefs that fingernails are made of rock, minx is pronounced 'min-ux', 'arn't' is the correct spelling of 'aren't', 'irregardless' is a valid word, and that George Bush seems like quite a nice guy.
