eBay and videos

I haven't sold anything on eBay for a little while but I remember that they only accept(ed) pictures for your items. Wouldn't it be great if they allowed you to quickly upload a video instead? Rather than just embed a video in your description, you upload a main video for the actual item where you show the item from a few angles, show it working, and just seem more legit. You could record a basic 20 second video just as easily as taking a few snapshots and looking for the best. A video would make you seem more legit, and it'd show the item actually working and in situ. Just an idea.

Hi Peter,

Sorry to be off topic but I couldn't find an email address.

I read an artical on someones blog with a comment from you about SQL.

I have a big problem because i can not restore my backup! Would you be so kind in helping me out?

#1064 - You have an error in your SQL syntax. Check the manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right syntax to use near ‘CURRENT_TIMESTAMP on update CURRENT_TIMESTAMP,

What is the problem with it?? How do I solve it?

Please?

thx

Ron

There's an e-mail link on every page of this blog ;-)

But anyway, you're trying to load a MySQL 5 dump into MySQL 4 or something. Just remove the DEFAULT CURRET_TIMESTAMP ON UPDATE CURRENT_TIMESTAMP stuff from each of the timestamp definition lines and you should be okay.

This is a REALLY good idea. It seems obvious, I guess - but videos on eBay would be really swell.

Hi Peter,

Sorry I missed your link.

But thanks to you it's working!! THX!!

But...........

After updating to 2.05 I got the "famous" error 500 message.

It's impossible to go to my dashboard.
I uploaded the tune-up plugin but I can't see if it's activated.

The work around "http://ronsrace.nl/wp-admin/plugins.php does not work.

Any suggestions how I can open my dashboard??

thx

Ron

If you're talking about WordPress, then I have no idea.. except I've noticed that on slightly crappy Web hosts, the dashboard doesn't work since I think the Dashboard is doing some sort of remote include.. and that can fail in many cases. It's not too critical though if the rest works.

Or it might be because of this (that I see on your site):

Error establishing a database connection

This either means that the username and password information in your wp-config.php file is incorrect or we can't contact the database server at localhost. This could mean your host's database server is down.
