Lots of problems going on with EveryDNS this evening. Anyone know anything? I phoned David very briefly (didn't want to interrupt him, so I wasn't asking questions!) and he said he's on it.

All I know is that I use everydns and opendns, and both are down for me (though I suppose opendns.com might only be down because their domain name isn't resolving!)
It appears EveryDNS have changed the A entries for their DNS servers. ns1 is no longer 38.99.14.207, but 64.158.219.3.. of course, it's still in transition, but I am getting successful resolution on the *new* everydns servers.

ns2.everydns.net. A IN 172800 216.218.240.206
ns3.everydns.net. A IN 172800 80.84.249.169
ns4.everydns.net. A IN 172800 63.219.183.200

OpenDNS is fine for DNS... but the website was off the air briefly because of our use of EveryDNS. David and others are actively making changes to mitigate the EveryDNS problems, as you've seen.

Yes, I am sure they are doing everything possible. I have a lot of appreciation for them.
I haven't donated in a few months, so perhaps I'll have to do that again :) They have a great service!

There's an update on the website now indicating that EveryDNS was hit by a wide-scale DDOS attack. It helped to remind me that I should donate to help them out so I sent them a few quid!
